Hi, There's a bit of truth to what you say, although, IMO, Elements is lacking some important tools, such as the healing brush, the patch tool, curves, color balance, and channel mixer, and there's also no access to channels, all of which I've found a use for on more than one occasion and some of which are used with every photograph processed. Frankly, there's a nice little free program called Irfan that's a joy to use, and while it lacks many features of PS and Elements, it's super for proofing work and for minor touch ups.
