I have no interest in a Canon. I tried a 10D before I bought the *ist 
D. The viewfinder was very poor, and the camera was very heavy. What's 
more, I have 15 nice Pentax lenses and one *ist D.

I'm going to add a second *istD body. Right now B&H is offering an
*istD plus the DA 16-45 for $1475 after a $200 rebate. Is it going to
get better than this any time soon? What thinks the list?
