Agreed.  Although a dual card system might have some value as noted in
another message, appealing, perhaps to both Optio users as an upgrade and
istD users as a second body.  Upon hearing about the "baby" dslr I became
interested as it would appear to be a perfect upgrade from the Sony digi
that I use.  However, without a CF card I'd give that possibility much
deeper thought.  The CF cards are almost ubiquitous, offer much more
flexibility ... kind of like the Tri-X of memory cards.

Anyway, this is as much speculation and mental gymnastics as I'll do on
this subject.  When the camera arrives in the shops, we'll know the
configuration and price point with somewhat more certainty, as well as it's
place in the Pentax digital lineup.
