It's just a tool... what matters is your imagination...

I have owned a number of circular saws over the years.
My first one was a cheap orange Black and Decker. It wouldn't cut straight enough for framing, much less any sort of finishing work.
My most recent one is a Dewalt that I paid top dollar for.
This tool is pro grade, I can make cuts with it almost as straight as those on my table saw.


It's not just your imagination, it's also what the tool is capable of doing.
If all you imagine is junior grade work, a junior grade tool is often fine.
