Oh good! This tool argument again.
Those who do not think carpenters argue about which hammer is better have never been on a construction site. Go down to big hardware store and look at the hammers they have available. There may be 50-60 choices, for each of them there is at least one carpenter who swears it is the best hammer ever made, and another 100 carpenters who say it is junk.
However you probably would not want to have to swing the cheapest ones all day long. So there are "amateur" hammers (good for occasional use) and "pro" hammers (built for heavy use without beating the user to death). And just like cameras, there are some cheap junk ones that have the word "professional" written right there on the handle. GRIN!

It's just a tool... what matters is your imagination...
I have owned a number of circular saws over the years.
My first one was a cheap orange Black and Decker. It wouldn't cut straight enough for framing, much less any sort of finishing work.
My most recent one is a Dewalt that I paid top dollar for.
This tool is pro grade, I can make cuts with it almost as straight as those on my table saw.
It's not just your imagination, it's also what the tool is capable of doing.
If all you imagine is junior grade work, a junior grade tool is often fine.
