I bought the digital so that I could do color again. Color film, processing, and whatnot is pretty expensive, and I wouldn't have the same degree of control that I would have over b&w stuff. Digital, however, makes color feasible again. Plus, I take a lot of concert pictures; sometimes, people want pictures turned around very quickly. With the digital, I can give them living color the very same night....With film, I'd have to wait for spare time to set up the darkroom & print up (I have no film scanner). All that said, I like b&w, lots. O, for a luminance-only CCD sensor, full-frame, K-mount camera! =-Luigi
