As I understand it that's not true. Of course if the JPEG support is
poorly implemented (as the case of Adobe might well be...)...

If you don't change the image, and save at same quality setting as the
original, it shouldn't loose anything. Becase the DCT will be the
same, for all the pixel 8x8 blocks. At least that's what I gathered
from exact this list, where this was discussed a month ago. So fire up
your archives...
