rec.photo.digital, it seems that it can display f-7.1 or f-8.0 - so it
defaults to the latter.

My Pentax bodies insist on displaying my f1.8 Pentax lenses as f1.7
lenses.

That seems to make more sense than an f/7.2 lens displaying as f/8.0. I
wonder why, if it can't read f/7.2 it doesn't default to f/7.1, which would
be much nearer the mark.
