And that brings me to the ONLY thing I really don't like with this (and
similar-minded) bodies (my wife and my daughter-in-law both have ZX-5n's).
Wait until you shoot your 24 shots (or 36 shots, etc.), and the body
decides that you now want to rewind the film back into the cannister - it
doesn't ask if it's OK, it doesn't ask if it'll be not too loud for the
situation, but it'll just go whirr-rrr-rrring away until it's done.
<grrr>
Yup, I had mine do that to me during a wedding ceremony. Fortunately, I was
on my way back to my gadget bag, so I tossed it into it until the noise
stopped.
OTOH, the noise from auto advance cameras is as annoying when the film is
moving forwards as it is when moving backwards.
I was watching a friends wedding video one time.
The photographer was using a high end Minolta Maxxum, I don't recall the
build designation.
Every time he took a picture, the microphone picked up the motor drive sound
louder than anything else. It was an incredible racket, and ruined the
ceremony part of the video.
Wedding photographers should not use motordrives at all.
