hi Paul, The 2300 mAh nimhs are new as of this year, as is the charger, a La Crosse that charges each battery by itself and gives me a measurement on voltage and mAh. I spent all of last year with duracell lithiums.
I think (because of what Tom and several others have said) I'm going to re-word my issue and add the two other instances of stuck-shutter I had last May, in order to re-direct them from simply checking on humidity-related issues.
