 I don't see why not but the bigger they get the slower they are.  Something 
that'd cover the focal plane at 6x7 would probably be slower than a focal plane 
shutter (and you'd lose your higher-than-sync speeds altogether).  A leaf 
shutter really needs to be in the lens :)

 It's almost square but not quite :)  Have you ever tried tilting a medium format 
camera 90 degrees on a tripod?  My Manfrotto 055 will barely stand up with 
my RB67 tilted over.

 I totally love my RB67 system (rotating interchangable backs _and_ all the 
lenses are leaf-shutter) but the old lenses I have are too soft for my liking :(  
When I go to a new system in the future I'll be torn between the Pentax 67II 
and the RZ67.
