I've now read stuff from 4 of you guys about this and am
about to
follow all your steps, Steve. Will report back.
I had been pretty happy with my scanner but not with tech
support.
WHen I first got the scanner I called to ask where one
turned off the
lamp. The tech support told me you couldn't turn it off!
As all of you
know who have one, you can, of course, turn off the lamp
from the computer.
