Pal,
What you need to do is keep AF on. The batteries are getting depressed.
They just sit their and drain themselves of all their energy. Kind of like
people.
Man, Pal after all the hooplah about the PZ-1p's antiquated AF for the last
2 years... to find out you don't use AF that much and you're not the kind of
guy....
Tom C. w/o anything better to do than try to pick a fight (wink).

Subject: The MZ-S; a batteryholic?
> My MZ-S eats batteries. Its the most dissapointing aspect of the camera. A
set of batteries, costing $20 around here, last for approximately 25 rolls.
To me it means a week or two. Its going to ruin me. I don't use AF much; I'm
not the kind of guy who uses AF for every shot, and only once used the built
in flash.
