One nice thing about the data imprinting is that you don;t have to guess 
about how many rolls you went through on a set of batteries.

I get fantastic battery life out of my Pz-1p, changing only 3 or 4 times a 
year.  But I use almost all manual focus lenses and external flash unit.  I 
guess the AF really eats up the batteries.
