That's hard to say. Mine has not been noticeable yet. But I've only shot
about 20 rolls through. I just the BG-10 in yesterday and plan on using it
most of the time. The manual says that general existing light photography
at 20 degrees C should give you about 95 rolls using alkaline batteries (4).
That would certainly lower your cost over the lithiums.
I have noticed that the winder is faster with the battery grip attached.
You can hear and feel the difference.
