Check with some of the NY pros. They can steer you to a repair place.  
Or ask one of the countermen at B&H. This is an easy fix. Any  
competent repair facility can handle it. I dont' think storing lenses  
in bags is a good idea unless you have silicate gel packets in the  
bag as well. You need something to suck up the moisture.
