Look at the splotchy areas on the left and upper right. Very typical  
of fungus growth. Element separations are usually more uniform in my  
experience. It certainly won't hurt to send it to Colorado. But if it  
were mine, and I had a reputable repair place on hand, I'd have them  
take a look at it first.
