Clamoring? I have to get up off the floor.... OK, I'm back. I recall everyone defending Pentax's decision to keep on making 6MP bodies. I remember people telling all about the beautiful prints they get with a 6MP camera. I remember people suggesting that a higher MP body would have more noise and that the file sizes would be harder to deal with.
What you failed to notice is that I didn't say anything bad about 6MP cameras.
