Assuming that they are cashed up sufficiently to fulfill the demand that they have created though their aggressive pricing. Otherwise the good word is out there about the product with potential buyers becoming frustrated and purchasing competitive products. Pentax is obviously producing at its maximum capacity now and it seem they have elected to starve their home market to provide product to other areas. In any case if it makes a dent in Nikon and Canons market we will shortly see some price adjustments from them, both companies have far more margin to play with. I don't disagree that the K10D is a great product, it's well engineered and it is obviously selling well and it should do well for their bottom line, just not as well as it could have. -- Rob Studdert HURSTVILLE AUSTRALIA Tel +61-2-9554-4110 UTC(GMT) +10 Hours [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://home.swiftdsl.com.au/~distudio//publications/ Pentax user since 1986, PDMLer since 1998 -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net
