Do you have HDTV yet? I wonder if your opinion will change once you UPGRADE? MINE DID. I used to rarely watch movies on the old HBO or on DVD before I upgraded to HD. Since I have, I now watch tons of them as they are so much more enjoyable. The color fidelity and image clarity is so far better that it really makes the viewing experience signifigantly better and it's more desireble to see these films.
