Lasagne is good, but for me it not a Christmas dish. BTW. I'm also fond of mousaka. Ham on the other hand that's the taste of Christmas, but not on the Christmas eve. Ham is for the days between Christmas and New Year.
We also have a strong tradition of eating cooked codfish during Chtristmas. Served with potatoes, carrots, melted butter and lefse. Come on fellow Vikings, please help me out explaining what lefse is. Growing up, my family always had lasagna on Christmas eve, and Ham on Christmas day. Probably just were we were at in the Italian / American multi-generational assimilation process. - MCC -- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Mark Cassino Photography Kalamazoo www.markcassino.com - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net
