Thanks Tom and Aaron.I was going to pose this query soon my
self. Some friends play in a Blues band and are going to play
the local fair next week and i was planning to use a roll
of the Ilford Delta 3200 if possible.(is it available at the
big stores like Henry's etc?)They will be indoor with
probably better than average bar lighting plus their own.
I also want to shoot a roll of colour. What do you suggest?
Something around asa1000 i imagine.
Aaron,i think a previous post you mentioned you shot at
about a 60th or 30 sec at wide open.Is this about right.
I have a monopos which i will take with me and use.I'll
probably use the SF-1 35-70 and or K1000 35-80
Thanks for the help guys
Dave

Subject: Re: Film advice needed
: cut your film speed in half
to compensate for the colour of the lights, because b&w film is less
sensitive to red than the rest of the spectrum, and most bars are lit
by
tungsten light, which is very red. So, if you are shooting 3200 speed
film, set your ISO dial to 1600. If you're pushing it to 6400, set
your
ISO dial to 3200.
