Could be, though I suspect the camera just can't quench the flash fast
enough.
It gets a little confusing if you read both manuals. The PZ-1p says
something to the effect that ttl flash is possible up to ISO 800. The
AF5000FTZ manual, IIRC, says something to the effect that ttl flash is
possible up to ISO 1600 with the PZ-1p.
I vaguely recall doing a test and thinking it worked up to 800...
