It's a bargain. Good lens for the price. > Should I save up for the upcoming DA* 16-50/2.8? That will be an expensive, and large, lens. I'm not sure I could justify it, even if I did save up the money. I have a DA 16-45/4 on my DS2, and it is a very nice lens. It's a bit bigger than I would have liked, especially with the hood, and I'm considering getting the 18-55 as a "small carry" lens. But with the full kit bag, it works nicely. Have the extra couple of mm on the wide end has been useful though. > Or go for the Sigma 18-50/2.8 which is available now (over $300 last I > checked)? And it'll be a drop in the bucket compared to a 16-50/2.8, if you do decide to take that plunge. -Mat -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net
