I agree completely!  Before I left the industry a couple of years ago we
were printing lots of digital media prints, and 99% of the cameras we sold
were digital.  About the only film we processed were from the one time use
crowd. I would think that even that portion of processing is on the
downswing.

Bill, I think the processing industry as it relates to film is on it's way 
out. Printing is alive and well, though print volumes are down 
significantly, or at least were the last time I checked.
It's not easy for me to get really accurate numbers now, as I am no longer 
in the business.
For the record, I am not in the least bitter about that. I was rather bitter

when the consumer decided that photolabs belonged in department stores, but 
honestly, wild horses couldn't drag me back into dealing with the idiots and

morons that I had to contend with for the 20 years that I worked in the 
camera store/1hour lab business.
