Of course he had no issues using it on the LX. The LX is a pure K mount, no electronic communication going on there at all. I have had a problem with a cheap CPC, (Pentax made non multi-coated), TC with both my *ist-D and Ds. It used to work fine transmitting data to my MZ-3 and ZX-5n. Every other A/F/Fa lens I have works fine with the digital bodies but that damned TC just sits on them inertly. I've tried cleaning the contacts but there's no joy. I'm basically too lazy to get either of the MZ/ZX bodies working to test it since I have no interest in shooting film with them at the moment.
