If you're looking for the words 'damage caused by cigarette

Ever heard the story of "do not attempt to stop the chain with your
hands" from a chainsaw manufacturer?

It might be an urban legend though...

Urban legend or not, it says something similar in the Chainsaw Safety Manual from Stihl.

To reduce the risk of cut injuries, keep
hands and feet away from the cutting
tool. Never touch a moving cutting tool
with your hand or any other part of your body.

You'd think that would be obvious, but there's a lot of really clueless people out there buy chainsaws.

An interesting "statistic" I ran across one time is the majority of fatalities in NC & SC attributed to Hurricane Hugo [1989] occurred during the cleanup afterwards; chainsaw injuries & chainsaw related injuries - climbed up in a tree with a chainsaw - fell and broke their neck, etc.
