Thanks for all the helpful advice.

My system uses remotes, but I don't think a remote will work through all
the walls between it and the darkroom.  IAC, I don't want to be screwing
around with the remotes and the music while printing.  I'd just load up
the player with some CDs, maybe program some of my favorite songs, push
the button, and let 'er rip.

A guy just offered to sell me this setup.  It might do the trick. 
Whaddaya think?
