In 1989 at McCaffrey & McCall Advertising we used Adobe '88  and Quark to build 
the Mercedes-Benz product brochures. I don't think the Adobe software was 
called PhotoShop, but as far as I know it was the grandfather of that software. 
I did some of the product information work myself, and did some resizing and 
touch up on some of the pics  of the new SL that we got from Stuttgar in Adobe 
'88t. I remember our first Macs were Mac IIs with 8 megs of RAM We paid 10K 
each for those boxes. You could only do one page at a time in Quark and a 2 meg 
file was a challenge for Adobe '88, but it was magic at the time.
