Yes, the DNG files produced from Pentax PEF files by the Adobe DNG
converter are substantially smaller in file size and the converter is
faster and batch processes from and to predetermined sub directories

OK, so knowing that it can be done sent me on a trawl to find out how.
_WHY_ is the "save as DuNG" command separate from all the other
conversion commands? Not even on the same part of the interface. Under
"tools" for crying out loud.
