I've never been a zoom lens kind of guy. In 35mm, I have 25 primes and 2 zooms. I wouldn't mind having this zoom in addition to the primes, but it will have to wait. It's a bit pricey. The guy I bought my 105 from was going zoom, which I heartily endorse since I got a great deal on his 105. Paul
