Hi William,
Although the 6x7 heavier, it's much easier to work with. You don't have to think about
parallax, you can actually see what's in the viewfinder when using the prism, because 
it's
much brighter.  The brightness  makes it much easier to focus, and I prefer the lens 
barrel
focus to the rack and pinion bellows of the Mamiya. I also like being forced into a 
vertical
vs. horizontal composition choice. The lenses are noticeably sharper than the early 80 
and
late 250 that I had for the Mamiya and far better at managing flare. And of course the 
300/4
SMC Pentax is a couple of stops faster than the 250/6.9 Mamiya TLR lens. (I think it 
was 6.9,
might have been 6.3).
