You can drag the route onto the roads you want to take, and it will
recompute. You may have to drag it at multiple points, to keep it from
routing you back onto the bigger roads.
Doing that, but you need a lot more points than Google will allow.
Still, I'm trying various work-arounds.
But it's the fact that I *am* having to figure out work-arounds to force
it take the road that directly connects two points that makes Google
Maps stupid.
