Here's a thought (though maybe not a very clever or realistic one): maybe
DSLRs with a splash of color won't make us photogs looks so scary--well,
just a thought. :-) Cheers, Christine

I think it's cool. I remember when stuffy, traditionalist Hasselblad
released their cameras in screaming yellow leather and black chrome.
One of the prettiest SLRs I remember was an Alpa 10d finished in matte
gold with green or burgundy snakeskin leather coverings.
Nothing wrong with a little style, as long as they don't want to
charge me extra for it (I mean, how much more can it cost to finish
the camera in red vs black?) and it's tastefully execute.
I still want a bumblebee Hassy 903SWC ...

Just saw that on fb. It is taking all the self-control I can muster
to not post a snarky reply to that post. Am I alone in feeling like
that is just a teensy bit ludicrous? Unless the "limited edition" red
645D comes with a "limited edition" discount, it's neither here nor
there.
But maybe that's just me. Cranky, bitter me...

It's not just the K-x's and K-r's of this (Pentax) world that get the
