Welcome, Paige! Always nice to have another girl on board...! I have a vivitar 70-210, too, and found Mark's page (http://www.robertstech.com/vivitar.htm) very helpful. I must have a different version than yours, though, since mine attaches to my cameras (ist-D & k-7) pretty easily... I must admit, however, my copy hasn't seen much action since I purchased the pentax 50-135. I always liked the results from the vivitar, but I prefer having the auto-focus of the pentax. So, if you end up replacing it, that's an option to consider...
