I saw a Science channel special about the Apollo 11 landing. Neil took over when the computer was trying to land the LM on a boulder. He went looking for a landing place while NASA was talking about aborting. They finally realized that they should shut up since he clearly had no intention of aborting. The focus of the man under duress was simply epic.
