watching it live when I was 8 years old. My Dad telling the kids to
sit down and be quiet because this was important.
i watched it too, and was also 8
a few months ago i read the entire annotated transcript of the landing flight,
with much of the drama of repeatedly overloading the computer, avoiding the
crater while low on fuel, etc. unfolds in detail that i found gripping:
