Checked the last two year's archives, nothing about monopods. What do
people recommend for a K-5 IIs with 60-250? Do you also use it as a
walking stick?
Anyone want to rant for or against monopods with mini-tripods?
I have an older Gitzo aluminum monopod that I bought used. Someone
traded it in when they got a new light weight carbon fiber monopod. I
prefer the heft of the heavier aluminum monopod. If I understand it
correctly, more mass = greater inertia, so it provides a steadier platform.
