Unfortunately in low enough light the noise on my K20D takes on a linear pattern, that's obviously digital in nature. Badly under exposed images, which happen more often than I like to think about, really bring it out, and there's not much I seem to be able to do about it.

Pentax may have benefitted due to their dalliance with Samsung but I

Funny. I love it. I love that its noise looks like film grain and I
sometimes leave it as-is.
