Honestly there's no excuse not obtaining memorable travel pics using a camera phone these days, phone cameras are as capable or better than most every P&S produced 10 years ago. I don't subscribe to the notion that it's only the photographer that's important, of course gear is important, if you have a toolbox full of the wrong or under-performing tools then a lot of jobs will be made far more difficult if not impossible to complete. You will note that not many of us are pining for higher resolution or greater dynamic range these days, it's the addressable things like lock-ups, flash systems and AF competence that are the main gripes, most of which the other camera manufacturers seem to have far more under control. -- Rob Studdert (Digital Image Studio) Tel: +61-418-166-870 UTC +10 Hours Gmail, eBay, Skype, Twitter, Facebook, Picasa: distudio -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
