I could not carry around a camera such as Ryan's (ex-PDML-er) Canon 5D for any length of time with any lens whatsoever! I prefer smaller lighter cameras, making just about every Pentax I have ever owned perfect for me. The heaviest camera I currently own is a 1960's vintage Fed4L, a copy of an early model Leica (IIIx, I think), which is quite heavy enough, thank you.
