You won't go Wrong with either choice, I simply don't think there is a worse lens than the sigma 28-105 F2.8-4 ( I should know I have one ). What I don't get is why people think it's soft at 105mm, it's quite sharp at 105mm, actually it's only sharp at 105mm and no where else.
