It is so bad that I pleaded with Brendan not to buy it from me (not me personally, but the store). It is the single most awful lens I've ever mounted on a camera, and I own the infamous SMC-M 28mm f2.8. In fact, I originally begged the distributor to not make me take it -- I had to take a package to get certain prices, and based on my experience testing that lens when I was at Sterling, I knew I'd never be able to in-good-conscience sell it. This isn't a wholesale condemnation of Sigma's lenses, mind you: my Sigma 24mm f2.8 is an excellent performer. It ain't no SMC-FA* 24mm f2.0, but it's also half the weight and a quarter the price. -Aaron - This message is from the Pentax-Discuss Mail List.
