Golly, I have to try one of these lenses. I can not without first hand experience believe they are that bad. Even my 35-70 super cheap Sigma is pretty good, not robust, but the image is OK. Of course people who complain of distortion on zoom lenses live in a different universe than I do, one with different laws of physics. Anyway, I can not believe the 28-105 2.8/4.0 Sigma can be that bad considering its price point.
