Sigma makes a 24/1.8, available for $550. I have the 20/1.8 which alternates between being totally frustrating, and a great piece of glass when the photo I'm trying to take is within it's competency range. > this tokina is any good it would cover a huge amount of my range. I bought my 8mm as a toy, was very pleasantly surprised by the build quality, and have been even more surprised at how often I grab it for serious photos. Someone recently pointed to this article: http://www.borrowlenses.com/blog/2013/02/the-best-lenses-for-night-photography-a-case-for-rokinon-primes/ If those Koreans ever add autofocus to their lenses, they are going to kick some serious ass in the marketplace. > > On Wed, Aug 28, 2013 at 7:59 PM, Darren Addy <[email protected]> wrote: > > I've got a son-in-law that shoots Canon APS-C and he used to have the > > Canon 10-22mm (wore it out) and then went to the Tokina 11-16 and he > > really dislikes IT.
