I use Apple's mail service through iCloud and it's been 100% reliable. But I also have a bunch of domains, leased and managed by Hover.com, each with its own email. Hover has very affordable domain name management and email offerings, and they've been 100% reliable. They're also great on service. See https://www.hover.com/email for email details.
I moved all my domains and such from GoDaddy.com a while back. I was unhappy with the complexity and need for service. Hover is a piece of cake to work with.
