I have three of the Remote F. The oldest one I purchased right after I got my *istDS. For convenience sake, I purchased the other two so that one could live in each of the battery grips for the K10D and the K20D. I've never had trouble with any of them except when the battery died.
My only disappointment related to the remote came when I received the grip for the K-5 and it didn't have the place to store the remote. I know that some think it's nice to have the option to use "AA" batteries again, but I don't see the need for those when the rechargeable lithiums work so well and weigh less. I'd rather have the option to store the card.
