You can make a wired remote very easily by taking a 1/8" headphone
jack and running the leads into a push button switch. You can also
make a shorted jack and by inserting it into the remote port it will
just fire continuously. This is actually a pretty decent idea for time
lapses as it will give you the maximum amount of frames. Also your
buffer will of course slow things down, but if you want a 1s interval
that's about the only way to go.
