I have the Petax WR remote control and a couple no-brand generic IR
remotes (about $5 each on Amazon). The WR remote works perfectly with
everything. When I do stacked macros I use the WR Remote - each stack
can run up to 200 exposures so having something that is unreliable would
be a real pain.
The generics worked fine with the K-01 and K-5, but do not work at all
with the K-3. Not unreliable - they don't work with it at all. I
replaced the batteries in the remotes hoping that would make a
difference, but no luck...
I also use an Android app called DSLR Remote with my phone and it works
well with everything - usually I use that when I have forgotten to bring
a remote with me.

Pentax has another remote, the remote control wd. Anyone have experience with
it. Are there any third-party remotes that are good?
