On the rare occasions I carry the camera on the tripod, I usually cradle
the camera in my left hand and carry the tripod legs in my right or tuck
them under my arm. One thing though, I am always careful about knowing
where my quick release screw is, and I keep an extra on hand, because
the first time I traveled with my gear, I left the screw on the camera
and it fell off on the trail. :P
